Dominican Touch, was created by El Tiguere Del Mambo for dancers who love Dominican Style Bachata. Dominican Touch is a way for Bachata dancers that are passionate about classical Dominican music and the traditional Dominican Bachata dance steps; to add some Island Touch flare to their Bachata dancing; while keeping the classical Dominican essence.

Essentially, Dominican Touch is a combination of the Dominican Style Bachata footwork and styling El Tiguere learned growing up from his Dominican father and family and the modern partnerwork, footwork and styling he learned training at Island Touch Dance, directed by Ataca Jorgie and La Alemana.

The major difference between Dominican Touch Bachata and Touch Bachata, is the type of music they are danced to and the primary basic step used. Dominican Touch is primarily danced to songs such as Loco De Amor by Luis Vargas and Touch Bachata is danced to songs like Mi Ultima Carta by Prince Royce.
